God is present most profoundly when suffering and grief are most intense, even in the moment of death. As we hear the story of Jesus’ final hours and death, we also reflect on the suffering and loss experienced among us this year. Our midday gathering will be a prayer of local stations of the cross walking through Columbia City, bearing witness to the pain of our neighborhood.
